Some facts:

Spotted hyenas are my favorite animal of all time.  I like ravens and ocelots a lot, also, and vultures.

On the eleventh of June, the Henry DoorlyZoo (one of the best zoos in the nation) got an ocelot! And hyena merchandise in the gift shop. That pleased me. (6/23/02)

I am known as Typo King online.  Even after I carefully look over my works, I can have edited a story five or six times and run spell check three times and STILL find typos.  Spell check doesn't find places where I type "form" for "from" or leave the "e" off or "one". (You will find many in this site I believe.)

I am weird.  There are two kinds of weird, bad weird and good weird.  I am good weird. (most the time).  I hate the cold.  I'm a desert rat, and cold just sucks big weenies.

I have a mother and a father of course, and an older brother who is in prison in Arizona right now, where I was born.  (I now live in Nebraksa.  my father's job transfered him and then laid everyone off three weeks later when they got bought out.  We weren't all too happy)  I have a cat named Patch.  I would have a dog, but we're in an apartment.  I had a ferret named Ringo, but he died after a good long ferret life.  I used to have one called Bandit, and a Snake called Drake and a tortise called Speedy.

Oh, about my brother, he should be out of jail by now. He would have gotten out when he was 30, and he;s 32, now. (6/23/02)

I am 25 years old as of October 30, 2001, and am a security guard.

I am still a security guard, but with a new company called Wackenhut.  Yes, that's the founder's last name. Much better company. (6/23/02)

I like stargazing.  (And planet gazing, and nebula gazing, and comet gazing, and...)  the Hale-Bopp comet was a great thing in my opinion!

Favorite band:  The Monkees.  (Yes, the Monkees.  And I jsut saw then in concert June tenth!!  (2001)  That was awesome.)

Other bands I have seen in concert...  There is a free concert every year in Omaha at one of the ocal parks.  Commercial Federal Bank sponsers it, and a couple of years ago they ahd the Shirells and Neil Sedaka (Yeah!)  This year they had a couple of local groups as usual, and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and the Beach Boys!  I was pleased!!  Every summer the local oldies station puts on a concert also, this one;s not free, though.  They have four of five acts, and a few local ones to fill in, and it goes like from 4 or 5 PM to after dark.  There, I saw Mitch Ryder, Lou Christie, the Grass Roots, The Turtles, and Gary Lewies and the Playboys.  They had Jan and Dean last year but I missed it.

This year, 2002, (this Friday, in fact), is the concert once more. Creedence and the Spinners! Woo hoo!!  Also, another band I watch all the time is a local oldies group called Hawk. I have a sektch or two of them in my pictures section, under Muscellaneous/Real Poeple.  My former upstairs neighbor, Duck, is the drummer for the band,m and they run aroundin a big ugly orange van they call Pumpkin.  (Sorry, Duck!)  (6/23/02)

I also like the Beatles, the Beach boys, Aretha Franklin, Herman's Hermits, and a lot of toher bands (all from the fifties, sixties, and early seventies.  My music taste was born too late)  Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Sedaka, the Beach Boys...

I don't have a favorite food since I will eat just about anyhitng.  Same with drinks.  I like green the best I guess, color wise.

I like to draw, write, read, watch movies (sometimes) and play outside.  yes, even at my "age" I like to play outside.  on playgrounds, even!

I can't stand: narrow-mindedness (I get that a lot here unfortunately).   I don;t like cruelty or mean-spiritedness, pettiness or Brussels Sprouts. (Yes, those rank right up there with pettiness).  Liver kinda sucks too.  I hate my asthma too.  being short's not all too horrible until I need to reach something, and then I have to climb on the counters like a child.  I hate being physically female, but that is covered elsewhere on my site.

I tend to be *very* protective of children and animals, and anyone that knows me, knows this also.  So much that I can;t stand child death in fiction, except in certain cases.  For some reason, child death in fiction ghost stories doesn;t bother me.  in certain books it doens;t seem to bother me.  I am not sure why.  And if it;s a story that I can;t take seriously, like a lot of the so-called "Weird Stories" the ThunderCat fanfiction writers sometimes create, it doesn;t always bother me then, either.

In role-playing it bothers me a GREAT deal and I won't roleplay it out.  In most stories it bothers me.  not sure why all of this is, but it's yet another weird thing about me.

Oh yes, I do like to role-play a great deal.  I do this a lot online, and IRL also.

I am 5 foot 2 inches tall (yes I'm short, get over it! :)  ) and about 150 pounds.  Got brown hair and eyes, not too striking.  I am Italian, Spanish, English, Irish, and French (just a title Irish and French).  if I am anyhting else, I don't know about it.

My second toe is longer than my big toe.

I like the Thundercats, Star Wars, Star Trek, Quantam Leap, MacGyver (Yes I like MacGyver!), Funniest videos, most anyhitng on Animal Planet, Tales from the Crypt, The Lion King (and other assorted Disney movies), and a few others probably.  oh the Monkees of coruse but that goes without saying.

I can;t ebelive that i didn;t put the Goonies down ehre.  Another of my absolute favorites. In fact I got a new copy for my birthday one year because I wore my other one out and the sound woudln;t work half the time LOL  I now have the DVD.  I ahve Harry Potter and Willow on DVD too!

As for music, I recently discovered a group they sang at the Renaissance Faire this year, called Jolly Rogers.  They;re hilarious, crude, and rude. :

As for the Renaissance Faire...this year was their last. "The Last Huzzah".  :(  I have tons of pictures from the Faire that I will be putting up this update, also.)  The Bluffs Arts council no longer is doingnthe Faire.  Hpoefully, the rumors being whispered about that another group has taken over, and they'll either be moved to Des Moines or Omaha are true.  A new start, I guess.  The last speech the king did was really cool.  All the royalty from the past years was there and he had a whoel speech, and everyone sang and stuff.  Hell, even the toher guys were crying.  (6/23/02)

I don;t believe in God.  I have been reading the writings of a Native American teacher named Jaime Sams, and believe that I have finally found a religon that makes sense to me.

For books, I like action, adventure, *some* fantasy, some sci-f and horror.  Harry Potter, Animorphs, Bunnicula, the Hardy Boys, and Stephen King's Gunslinger books are my favorite series.  I like books on torture and execution also, although unfortunately they sometimes talk of these cases involving children, and it goes without saying that I don;t read those parts.

Individual books I like a lot are a 1906 copy of Treasure Island, two books on hyenas that I managed to track down, a book of all the Beatles songs with the music and lyrics in them, a book of fairy tales that I got when I was 3 or so, and a few of my astromnomy and woldlife books that I have.  There;s a  Lion King book or three that are favorites also.

I like ice cream, also.

I have discovered a similarity  among people who tend to dislike me for no real reason.  The people that dislike me tend to dislike children a lot also.

And hand in hand with that, I am a very child like person.  Childish at some times, yes.  But mostly I have a lot of energy, act like a child sometimes, and take wonder in things that many people who are "adults" have lost their awe in.  To me, wonder is the best reason for living.  Well one of them, anyway.

I dress strangely sometimes.  I like bright obnoxious colors at times, jsut for the Hell of it.

And what else...hmmm.  I can't think of any more for now, but this is a good start!

If you;ve any questions about me, ask!

Email Me!

Why the different colors?  Because they're fun.
