Finally made public!

Lucius Malfoy, after a lengthy trial on 21, August, has been released from the Institution of Magical Corrections. After testimonies from victims, Ministry officials, and prison personnel, a vote of thirty out of fifty gave the majority vote to releasing Malfoy, aged 64. Malfoy' s son, Draco Malfoy, spoke on his father's behalf during the trial.

Lucius Malfoy, shown here in his prison robes, stands to speak on his own behalf during his trial before the Wizengamot.
Sandy Altair told the Daily Prophet that she felt Lucius had been punished enough for his crimes, and that he deserved a second chance. "I believe he truly rues his decisions."

Hank Frooble, who voted against releasing Malfoy, opined that releasing Malfoy was a mistake. "He doesn't mean a bit of it," he said disgustedly. "He pulled the same rubbish the last time. Releasing him was the worst error the Wizengamot's made in twenty years."

The trial ended at noon, and the courtroom was emptied soon thereafter.

.
When Beatrice Sterling arrived at her daughter's home on 30, August to check up on her daughter's pet Kneazles, she discovered something much more horrific than furballs.  Beatrice, who had agreed to pet-sit for her daughter Natalie’s nineteen cats while Miss Sterling was away on business, was shocked to find her daughter’s body on the floor.

The circumstances around Natalie Sterling's death are still not clear, though most Ministry investigators agree that the cause of death was very likely the unforgiveable Killing Curse.  The body was not marked in any way, and was completely healthy.

This death is very similar to five other deaths in the past, year, deaths that have many older members of the wizarding community worried.

They say that the killings are reminiscent of the events that led up to both the first and second rise of Voldemort, still called "You-Know-Who" by many fearful witches and wizards.  An Auror who has asked to remain unnamed says that they did find one link among the victims: they were all avid supporters of the Ministry's Muggle-friendly and non-human friendly views.  The Ministry has declined comment.

The Daily Prophet would like to assure its
readers that the Quibbler’s allegations that
our editor-in-chief is using “audioflitters”
(microscopic life forms that remember
everything they hear and whose information
can be gleaned through Legilimency) to
obtain its information are completely false.
Aside from such a thing being against our
privacy policy--audioflitters do not exist.

The Dragonwing Luggage Company is proud to present...the SkyBoot, a detachable boot designed for broomstick use.  The spacious SkyBoot can fit an entire set of luggage, yet is magically-treated to make the entire load no heavier than one kilo.  This break-resistant, collapsible boot will seal firmly, adhere firmly to any standard-sized broomstick, and comes with adapters for adhesion to the more unusual styles. For anti-Muggle security, a double-tap of the wand will render it invisible.
.

.
The SkyBoot comes in several sizes, from a foot wide to seven foot wide, and is available in three attractive designs:
.

.
Dragon Skin:

This is our traditional Dragon Skin design, of which most of our baggage and other containers are made.  (Skins/colours available:Common Welsh Greens (green), Hebridian Blacks (black/grey), Swedish Short-Snout (blue), and Chinese Fireballs (red or orange.)

Steel:

This is a boxy, metallic design, for those who like a more industrial look. Colours available: black or grey.

Kaleidoscope:

For those who like the more unusual things in life, there is the Kaleidoscope.  Made of shiny, black faux-marble, with a bright band of colours around the middle, this oddly-shaped boot is fun, as well as functional.

See what others have said about SkyBoot!
.
Joseph Gregor, 23, of Dublin, Ireland, says:

"The SkyBoot is brilliant - it was always a great inconvenience, trying to tie all me bags and packages to me broomstick every time I wanted to do any kind of shopping or travel.  The SkyBoot is easy to use!  Just open it, tap it with me wand to seal it, and I'm off!"

Monarose Lombardo, 40, of Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A, says:

"I'm a packrat, I admit it.  I go to garage sales, flea markets, get all kinds of weird junk.  I usually come home with all kinds of strange things, with nowhere to put them.  The SkyTrunk makes it a whole lot easier!"

Kevin DeDannan, 10, of Newbury, England, says:

"I'm home-schooled, but I'm a Beater for a kids' league in London, and before my Mum got me a SkyBoot for my broom, I was always trying to carry all my gear in one arm, while flying to practice.  It wasn't easy!  Now I don't have to worry about dropping my Beater's Bat on some poor old woman's head."
