Well, my cousin got me sucked into an anime...scary, isn't it? Ah well, this is one of the better ones, I think, if I ignore the irritating "anime scenes" in the show itself. Everything else, I love! Anyway, I started out drawing scenes for my cousin's fanfiction, Friend or Foe, and that, as they say, is that. These are my general Ronin pictures.

Incidentally, I use the English names for most of the things in this section, though if I really like the Japanese version, I might use that instead. Ryo, for instance, has a much cooler pronunciation in Japanese than English, as I learned from my cousin.

Somewhat on that subject, I do not use the anime style; I don't like it. I use a more realistic style, but try to keep them true to canon. There are a couple of exceptions to that rule, but for the most part they all look pretty close. I also have taken a bit of artistic license and omitted the helmets/masks in nearly all of the pictures I've done of full armor. Especially with the warlords, the mask just takes away all the character, and is just more armor I'd have to draw. So I left them off.

	Here is another Sekhmet portrait I was really happy with.
	This is a picture of Sekhmet that came out really well. Made for a desktop calendar.
	Sekhmet quickly became one of my favorite characters. He's not in his "normal" armor there. The picture I worked with I think came out of a book.
	Cute little guy, isn't he? Sekhmet's holding a venomous sea snake. It started out being a Ryo picture, but I couldn't make it work right. He's about 8 here.

Here's Kale! He's another that started out with me intending to make a Ryo picture. That kid gives me more trouble... Anyway, it ended up being a really cool Kale picture.

	This was done for a fanfiction, but it's also right from an episode. This is Anubis, looking up at the energy matrix after Ryo takes a flying leap into it. I was pleased with this one!
	Here's Anubis, who looks a bit different than in canon--this is my take on him. He's another one I didn't put in armor. I have drawn PLENTY of armor this week, and wasn't keen to draw any more.
	Here's Anubis as a youth--he came out surprisingly well!

Dais didn't turn out as well as I hoped. It looks like I think Dais looked as a little one, but the position is off.

	Here's a picture I enjoyed drawing a great deal; Kento with all of his younger siblings. Kento's my favorite of the Ronins, and he's a whole lot like me. Anyway, he loves kids, and has a big family, so here they are, roughhousing.
	Kento came out great! He's one of the easier ones for me to draw, easier than Rowen and Ryo, certainly. Sage, strangely, is one of the easiest to draw. He's not usually the kind of character I like well.

This is a picture I was extremely pleased with. inspired by the first few episodes, Ryo protects Yuli against a barrage of Dynasty power.
Ryo in Kikoutei. I thought about doing a single-color background, but the Ronin colors looked too cool.
And speaking of Ryo, I did finally catch him right, playing fighter pilot. This is inspired by a very tiny part of my cousin's fanfiction, but I just put it with the other kidpics.

And here is Cye, with a bundle of flowers. Remember doing that? Sticking your face right into a flower? LOL Heck, I still do it. Usually get pollen all over me, too.

This is a picture of Rowen that my cousin suggested. Seems she and a friend were deciding what gift they should give Rowen in compensation for not writing much about them in fanfiction. A crossbow was the answer! This is one of my best.
And a Rowen portrait! I went from not being able to draw him, to drawing more of him than the others!
Here's Rowen, a picture I drew for a desktop calendar. It's more anime style than I usually draw (it's not easy, either...:fume:), but I was wanting to try a couple of different styles for the calendars.
Rowen looks like a mischievous little imp, doesn't he?

	My cousin suggested this little trio of pics! She said it would be highly amusing to catch Sage singing in the shower. And so I did! (The dialogue is hers, she knows Sage better than I! These pictures are slightly risqué.)
	"Huh? HEY!!"
	"AAAAAAAAA!! GIMME THAT!"
	This is a young Sage based off of my cousin's background fics, where he had an unhappy childhood.
	Sage, done for a contest on Deviantart. Sage could have been done a bit better, lighting and contrast wise. But he's still not too bad.

Here is a picture of Ryo and Sage from a December desktop calendar I have made.
This was the first Ronins picture that I drew, and Ryo doesn't look right. The others are reasonably okay. Ryo...I have a heck of a time drawing him, and I am not quite sure why. He's the other major character that I see somewhat differently than is in canon, and that's part of my difficulty. Though of late my mental image is becoming closer to canon.

	Here is a picture that I got inspired to draw just because I was in a very strange mood! Sage and Kale confront each other once more, but it's not exactly a conventional confrontation!
	Here is the same picture, but with a nice, rocky, cold background. (Because Kale seems to like cold mountains. Br.) Anyway, it came out pretty well! (Picture background used WITH permission from this photo: Mountains)
	This is one of my better pictures! I was thrilled with how well this came out, especially since this kind of action/battle picture is very difficult for me. But it turned out great! Ryo and Kale battle, and it seems Kale's getting the upper hand. Ryo's not thrilled.
	Another fairly good picture. Sage and Sekhmet often trade insults when my cousin and I talk. It finally came to blows. Here is Sekhmet kicking some butt. (First time drawing Sekhmet in his full armor--what a pain!)

FINALLY! A Yuli portrait I am pleased with. It came out well! (Though I was almost done with the thing before realizing his eyes are blue, not dark brown. Had to change the eyes!)
I thought Ryo was difficult to draw... Yuli turned out to be the most evil character to draw...the little pest. Anyway, this is my first attempt at him, and it took 3 tries to get to this level. My sketch was far better. That's here.

	This is what I would be in the Ronins universe, I think. He's 8 or so, and a Cub Scout. He likes neon colors, and has more energy than is normal. (It's me, after all!) He's not quite right.
	This is an art meme! A meme being something that's passed aorund via something like the internet. I did a Ronin Warriors one.
	I filled out the meme myself, also.
