CREATURES

We share our home with several creatures, some pets, some not. The children's pets are in their respective rooms, but there are some that don't belong to any one child, or that are mine, and so I have included them here.  They don't all live outside.

A note:  These two dragons' names are Zareh and Tarak, respectively.  They are not pets, but guardians, whose job is to protect our home and my children.  Keep this in mind if you wish harm on either.  They came from a realm called Dreamforests.

This is our sea creature, Kailani, an old First Earth name that means sea and sky.  We got her from the Gummi Bears agency.  She lives in a pond in the backyard.

This unicorn stallion is of the Gummi Bears world as well, and his name is Plaso Sycan, which means Older Brother in the Barbic language.  Archer asked if we could name him that, and everyone was cool with it.

This is a Thylacine pup - he's mine, and his name is Bunyip.

This one I could not resist getting; it is a Tripod, and we've made the second stable stall tall enough to house him.  Otherwise, he roams the backyard, and sometimes the forest when we let him out.  He's well-tamed, and loves the kids.  I named him Stripes.

These critters are "experiments".  Apparently someone out there creates genetic experiments, and those that are failures (to his mind) end up at the Gummi Bear Adoption Agency.  Now note that I do not condone such experiments, but this one obviously does treat the creatures he creates well.  Instead of killing the "failures", he gives them someplace they can be adopted.

Here is the information sheet (Offline) on Lee, along with his pictures.  The notes are in the hand of the doctor that made them.

Most my children love him; and he's an incredible comfort to my little ones that need it.  He's about two feet.  He's also quite tough; even Blaze can't hurt him.  He probably could if he tried, but Blaze doesn't really try to hurt anyone.  The only thing is, Lee's eyes are very sensitive to light, so we have to be careful.

This second one is Key.  His name was originally Feather, but after finding out that he can get under the tiniest crack beneath a door to unlock a room in which a child has accidentally closed himself in, I decided to call him Key.  He's got no bones, but can still be injured, so my kids know to be gentle, and if they can't be gentle, to leave him be.  He loves to fly.

Here is Key's official information sheet.  (Offline)

I met this little guy at the Gummi Bears Adoption Agency when I last visited, and couldn't resist bringing him home.  He's only a couple of feet high...but jeez.  Give him half a chance and he'll pack your whole house in his briefcase.  The only way I have found so far to keep him from doing this is to take his briefcase.  But if you don't distract him right away, he gets very upset.  Anyway, his name is Skitter.  It used to be Packa, but I like Skitter better.  (It's how he walks.)  I'm working on training him for clean-up...it's not easy.  Here is his (Offline)
We have a fourth little critter, Toronado; he is strictly an outside pet made of wind and energy.  I love this guy.  He's mostly mine, but Storm Ryder loves him at least as much.  Since he's a small tornado, that's to be expected.  Actually, he's about the size of a bull half the time, though he can change size within reason.  He looks pretty fierce, but he just likes to be scary.  He's actually a sweet creature.

VERY impish, though.  And he can be destructive, just by his very nature.  So he stays outside, and usually hangs around in the forest when he's not playing with the kids.

Here is his information sheet.
