Tempest

Information:

History:
Tempest's mother was not particularly loving, and Tempest put up with a lot of emotional and verbal abuse. When about eight, she was given to an aunt to take care of...but when the aunt married, she had the little girl live with yet another relative...she was passed around several times until one of her guardians tried to molest her, and she went to the authorities. That's how she ended up in my orphanage, and eventually ended up my little girl. We'd made friends while she was at the orphanage, and eventually grew close enough to become family.

Personality:
Tempest (Kyyressi in Plundaarian) was initially very polite, very quiet and watchful, and rather grim and serious. She is still a pretty serious young woman, but has lerned to laugh more, and have a less grim outlook on life. She is very protective of her younger siblings (she's the oldest of my kids), and anyone that tries to mess with her family usually regrets it.

Psys' abilities are different from Psy to Psy, but her strength seems to be telepathy. She could, if she wanted to, get into anyone's mind and see what they were thinking. Or, with a ltitle persistence, go further and pull anything from their minds, including knowledge, memories... She doesn't, though. She has a strict personal code of honor, and it would have to be a dire situation for her to break that code.

Likes:
Her psy powers and club, weaponry, reptiles, board games, peace and quiet, the moons, her siblings, reading.

Dislikes:
Dishonorable people, most adult Mutants (it took me a while to gain her trust), people who fight for stupid reasons, slavery/slavers, people who mess with her or her family, noise and chaos, people who insult Lunattacks, filth, condescending people, bright, obnoxious colors or light.

Pets:
This is a syrpent, from the Gimmi Bear agency's store. They usually only imprint on one person, and Tempest is it; she keeps him away from the other children for the most part. The aquatics are new, a lionfish, a jellyfish, a stingray, and an eel. She has taken a liking to pet fish.

Weapon:
This blade was a gift from me, a finely-made blade from a Plundaarian blacksmith. It is a traditional Plundaarian hand weapon, custom made for Tempest to use. She practices with it daily; it's her favorite possession.
